It’s hard to translate skating instruction that you see on a video or DVD in your living room into movement on the ice. Unlike those videos or DVDs, the Quantum Speed App for Intermediate Skaters gives you a portable, hands-on instructional and real-time visual tool that you can take with you on the ice, in your own backyard or at your community rink.
Designed for skaters of any age who have mastered the basics in the Introduction to Quantum Speed App, the Quantum Speed App for Intermediate Skaters features real Quantum Speed clients in step-by-step videos designed to give you the tips, tricks and science of becoming a faster, stronger skater.
You’ll find:
- 30 different drills to choose from (in skill areas such as Chalk Talk, Warm Up and Muscle Activation, Stopping, Forward Stride, Backward Skating, Edges, Crossovers, Turns and Transitions, Starts and Acceleration, Add a Puck, and Fun Stuff) and
- A “Key Teaching Point” slide at the end of each video that identifies teaching cues as well as common errors to look for and how to correct them.
The Quantum Speed App for Intermediate Skaters was developed by Quantum Speed’s very own Steffany Hanlen and Vanessa Hettinger who were named official master skating instructors for Hockey Canada in 2012.
